We manufacture in many hard wood timbers, but the majority of our production is in European Beech. Other popular timbers include Oak, American Black Walnut, Maple, Poplar, Ash and Cherry which are often used for specific projects.

We source our timber from suppliers who comply with all the current regulations and environmental issues. Our show wood timber comes predominately from areas that have ‘Pan European Forestry Certification’ and the frame material is from the Baltic States Government run sustainable forests. Sheet material for constructional and decorative purposes is brought to specific grades and quality.

All the timber is carefully checked on its arrival at Barton Products both for quality and moisture. Timber is a natural material with character and colour variation, both of which will change and mellow with age, depending on the atmosphere and environment in which it is placed.
